The ingredients to create your life are the experiences you gain every day. Sometimes they are sweet, sometimes salty or sour, and sometimes also bitter. Combined correctly, the most delicious dish is created according to your taste.

Your life, your ingredients

You have to trust yourself and your intuition and believe that the universe will catch you.

The first issue is a combination of German and English. But from now on, Sticky Fingers is released in English and German.

Cooking intuitively is nothing more than letting go of the claim to be perfect.

It is nothing more than getting involved with the ingredients and the moment, trusting yourself, and preparing food without being attached to the outcome.

Instead of clinging to the supposed security of a recipe, trust your senses. Taste by real tasting instead of relying on quantities. Smell the cake in the oven instead of setting a timer. You smell it when it's through. Combining the flavors and ingredients to suit you. Do your own thing instead of following guidelines.

Intuitive cooking:
better than perfect

Being brave and chasing your dream doesn't mean not being afraid. It means feeling the fear and do it anyway.

Daniela Bohli | Du findest immer (d)einen Weg (Seite 8)

Learning to forgive and accept others opens your heart and you understand the meaning of happiness.

Jinpa Gymatso | The Tibetan Art of Living (Seite 66)

Sticky Fingers stands for culinary creations based on gut feeling, believing in yourself and your ideas, and living according to your conditions and values. Just go for it instead of being paralyzed by your fears and the demand for perfect results.

There is no recipe for life. You have to find out for yourself what is right for you and how your version of life should be. You are the cook in the kitchen of your life. The ingredients are the experiences you have every day. Sometimes they are sweet, sometimes salty or sour, and sometimes also bitter. Combined correctly, the most delicious dish is created according to your taste.

Sticky Fingers is what it embodies: imperfect, without a prescription, simply what comes about when you believe in yourself and your ideas.

The first edition is also in honor of my dad, who died exactly eleven years ago. I learned a lot from him and his untimely death. These ingredients made me who I am today and inspired me to live my life according to my rules and values.

Let's toast the first issue of Sticky Fingers! To my dad! To life! To your ideas and creations!
